With the gloomy cold days upon us the thought of sunshine escapes our minds. But even when the skys are grey and snow is on the ground sunblock is a must! Did you know that there is 80% more sun when snow is on the ground than in summer? This is from the reflections of sun that reflect off of the snow covered ground. Make sure that your sunblock has both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in the ingredients. These both will allow for a full spectrum block that will reflect the absorbtion of both UVA and UVB rays. So instead of grabbing that knitted scarf to protect your face, go for the sunblock!
